Inspecting the bees….searching for the queen, brood, honey and pollen stores etc. All part of the regime of hive inspections.

Our 2026 course has now come to an end and hopefully our 12 students will go on to keep their own bees.

If you are interested in attending a course, then please refer to our Beekeepers’ Course page.

We hope to run a New Beekeepers’ Course in 2027, and the details including dates and prices will go up on the website during Winter 2026. Course starts in April/May.

Please get in touch if you are interested – we already have a waiting list – and we take a maximum of 12 students. Please note that this course is for adults only.
